The Premier Soccer League (PSL) has officially partnered with Betway to launch the newly named Betway Premiership, marking a significant shift in South African football sponsorship. This development comes after the end of the previous sponsorship deal with DStv.
The partnership between PSL and Betway, a prominent online sports betting and gaming company, is set to bring new opportunities and a fresh dynamic to the league. Betway’s involvement aims to enhance fan engagement and provide innovative experiences for supporters throughout the season.
PSL chairman Irvin Khoza announced the new sponsor on Wednesday at the league headquarters in Parktown during the press conference.
