In a move to boost transparency and improve service delivery, ActionSA has unveiled an online Performance Tracker to monitor the work of the Tshwane Mayor and her multi-party coalition government.
The digital platform, now live on the party’s official website, provides real-time updates on key governance areas across all wards in the City of Tshwane. It tracks turnaround times, unresolved service delivery issues, and existing backlogs.
ActionSA’s executive mayor in Tshwane, Dr. Nasiphi Moya, took office in October 2024. Since then, the party says, the coalition has prioritized direct accountability to residents. ActionSA President Herman Mashaba emphasized this during a media briefing in Pretoria.
“This tracker is part of our ongoing efforts to redefine how governments engage citizens,” said Mashaba. “Residents of Tshwane can now measure progress for themselves. It’s about restoring trust through access to real information.”
The initiative mirrors ActionSA’s national strategy, where Members of Parliament report quarterly on their performance directly to the public—something Mashaba says sets a new benchmark in governance.
